HEALTH ENCYCLOPEDIA

Links to the Health Encyclopedia can be found in the upper left hand corner of the homepage.

There are a couple of ways you can look up information: Click one of the listed topics (in yellow); type a word or words into the white box and click “Go;” or click the link “Full List of Topics” (this link brings up a page where you can then click on a topic or on the link “Full Index (A-Z).”

Once you choose one of these search options you will then be presented with some other choices, so you can pick a particular condition or treatment.

Once a topic page has been reached, you will find a definition and description of the condition or treatment, other educational information, and possibly charts and images. If health care data is available for a particular condition or treatment there will be links in the “Health Outcome Data” box that you can click to learn more.
