Electronic Prescribing Report This second year report provides an update on the status of electronic prescribing in Florida. Emergency Department Utilization Report This report summarizes Emergency Department (ED) utilization data to provide demographic characteristics of visits to the ED and information on patient acuity level and costs. Information is also provided on ED utilization that results in an inpatient hospitalization.

Injury and Present on Admission Codes in 2007 Inpatient discharges in Florida This fact sheet presents an overview of the types of injuries that were present and not present on admission in the 2007 Florida inpatient data. As of January 2007, Florida hospitals were required to report present on admission (POA) indicators for each diagnosis and external injury code (E-code) in the inpatient discharge data hospitals provided quarterly to the Agency for Health Care Administration. The POA indicator differentiates conditions present when a patient is admitted to the hospital from conditions that occurred during a patient's stay.
